Seriki: A talent on the decline.

So if someone told you 2years ago that Seriki was not here to stay, what would you have said?
These days, he has become Silent like the D in Django. Lool. But seriously, what's up with this dude?
We all thought we had another great on our hands when we heard his rhymes on 'Talk I'm Listening'.
He improved a lot further when he released Undisputed, then he also showed promise in some features, but since then....................................................

SWATS AND BLOODHOUNDS 1 & 2

If you're really a big fan of rap and you've not heard these bangers, you're like a Chelsea fan without an Okada. Lool. Just joking. I won't say much about these songs. But if you know who Cyrus Tha Virus (@CyrusHitboy) is, you should know he's a legend in the underground circle. And legends don't stop rolling out the dope music. Look for these tracks and listen. BTW, Cyrus' mixtape just got out too.

The Battle of the 'Otises'

Here, we have two heavyweights. bad-ass rap acts that have proven themselves on any stage you can ever think of. They have stood the test of time. They have succeeded where some have failed. Its Terry Tha Rapman VS. MI (Mr. Incredible)
While we are not looking to start a beef or whatever. They both dropped their much-awaited, much-anticipated mixtapes sometimes last year. World Domination by Terry, and Illegal Music 2 by MI.
The mixtapes are still not our concerns (though if you have not heard both, you are definitely on a looong thing), but 2 tracks, one each from both group, awesome tracks. A cover to the original Otis done by Jay and 'Ye.
While Terry featured the master himself, Mode 9, MI featured the Choc Girl, Pryse.
Awesome delivery, worldplay, punchlines, and mastery from theses acts. If you've not heard these two tracks, I wonder which tracks you've listened to in your whole life. Yes, I wonder.
(THIS IS A 'BRING-IT-BACK' SUGGESTION)

The Sarkodie factor

SARKODIE. Anytime that name is called, do not expect one single bad thing said about this guy. The fact that some people think he's better than all of 9ja's rappers altogether should say something to you. Methinks he's over-rated tho', I can count at least 7 9ja rappers better than Sarkodie, but the guy is good.
He's Ghanaian and he speaks too much of his language to change my mind about him. When he's ready for the international market, he should say things we all understand. For obvious reasons' don't be surprised if I say he's not lyrically adept. And that's just my opinion. If you think otherwise, let's hear it.
